Tom & Kim
So far we have been toughing it out…. no, actually enjoying this season in the great white north. Last trip to Winterpeg we visited the local indy music shop and picked up a Walter Trout disc (how appropriate) and it started us pining for the live show. Oh how Tom loves the blues. Wouldn’t you know, Saturday night we were invited to the Blues Fest in Kenora. What a whole lot of fun. Hopefully this March we attend Hillbilly Burlesque’s CD release party @ the historic Windsor Hotel back in the Peg. One track of this album was recorded in our very own Cabin 3. More songs from the Sleepy Dog Cabin sessions will be included in their next album. So this is just to keep in touch and let you know that we are staying entertained till you all get back here.

Canadian Pacific Railways has a wonderful Christmas tradition known as the Holiday Train. Musicians entertain a crowd of locals with a mini concert at every whistlestop and we bring a foodbank donation for their effort. It always gets us in the Christmas Spirit.
